DISCIPLES OF JESUS MINISTRY

 

STAY PURE

 

Loss of purity,

Now lost identity,

Unhealthy soul ties made,

All because of a one night stand.

 

Young people it’s a dangerous place to go,

The Bible tells you clearly it’s a no,

Stay pure until your marriage bed,

Sex should be between a wife and her husband.

 

Don’t believe the lies from ungodly peers,

Everyone does it so it’s got to be okay,

God has called you to a life of purity,

From promiscuous behaviour you must flee.

 

Girls be careful how you dress,

It’s not okay to wear revealing clothes,

It’s not okay to read pornographic magazines,

It’s not okay to watch sex scenes on television.

 

Love is not sexual attraction,

You should not be lusting,

Even your heart can commit adultery,

It is a sin to lust after someone sexually.

 

For those who have fallen into sin,

By God they can be forgiven,

Repent and begin the process of restoration,

And he will bring you deep inner healing.

 

God loves you all and wants the best for you,

Sexual sin causes lack of intimacy,

With your Father in Heaven too,

Stand out from the crowds and walk in purity.
