STANDING AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE                       

Have you ever been on a journey and you have sat confused as to which road to take? Maybe you have ventured out without a map or your map is too hard to follow. It’s a difficult one isn’t it and you need guidance to reach your chosen destination. You know we can be standing at the crossroads of life and although there are only two choices to make, some people find it a difficult one to make.

Here the Bible is our map, our guidebook.

Matthew 7:13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell* is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way. 14 But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.

Many will travel through the broad gate on the broad road that leads to hell. The pleasures of this life are but for one fleeting moment in the scope of eternity. The narrow way is the one, which will have fewer travellers, but it leads to life, eternal life.
Jesus Himself said “I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me.”
The Bible tells us we are all sinners and sin separates natural man from God. God provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him. He loved us so much he sent His only son Jesus to die for us, for He is a loving Father and  beckons us to come on home to Him. He longs for you dear friend to choose life and choose Him. We are so glad that we choose to follow Jesus, for He came into our lives and we found a love being poured out into our lives and into our hearts that is beyond any human perception. For you see God is the Father you have always been searching for. You may have a good earthly father, but even good earthly dad’s love pales into insignificance compared to that of God the Father, for He sacrificed His only son for you and I.  Praise God though for Jesus is alive today and his arms are wide open saying to you” My dear one, How I want you to come to me, Come today.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Confess your sins and Jesus will forgive you, ask Him into your life and you will follow the narrow road to life, an everlasting life with Jesus.
If we choose the broad road we are choosing Satan and an eternity in hell. Which gate will you enter in?

Life is short,
Death is sure.
Sin the cause.
And Christ the cure.

Come to Jesus today.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
